Dark & Stormy
Made it out of the Bermuda Triangle alive. The shoot went very well—good laughs, interesting content and nice people. I'll post a link once the videos go live.
In the meantime, a few observations about Bermuda:
1) The weather out there in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean is indeed unpredictable—overcast and raining one minute, all sunny and blue sky the next.
2) There is no fresh water on the island, only brackish lakes. The roof lines are designed to capture water and withstand wind speeds up to 100mph. For the last 400 years the Bermudian roof has been made from limestone and/or whitewashed with lime to make the water potable. Interesting solution and also very aesthetically pleasing.
3) My drink of choice while on the island was the traditional Bermudian Dark & Stormy. The combination of Gosling's Rum and Barret's Ginger Beer is outstanding! Highly recommended.
